Today went to Golden Pine after school.
Went to two units and no one was there, guess we were very unlucky.
We finally saw an old lady in one of the units and asked her if she can come down on Friday but she couldnt so we had to find another old lady.
We went up and down searching but couldnt find any units. Finally, we saw another old lady watching tv and she was very friendly.=)
We went into her house and we asked her about what she do when she is alone in the house, her hobbies...Guess what she answered?
She said she watches tv and read books sometimes.
We went on to ask her about her age and to our surprise what we guessed of her age was so much different. She looks so young even though her age is different from her looks at all.
The first impression was she looks cheerful and seems to be a very nice and gentle old lady.
We were engrossed in chatting with the old lady and I asked her about teh Japanese Occupation. She told us everything and the merger as well...Chaos in Singapore and even racism happened. *wow* learnt alot about history and social studies..lol
Haha..She also taught us moral values on we should care for one another and not bear grudge, if not we wont have friends...AND the most important thing is to forgive and forget.
She has illness but yetv she still smiles to us and even looks happy ...Can say she thinks positive. I want to visit her again. Im sure we wil because her birthday is April 16...hope that one day we can come and visit her and sing a birthday song??
Hope she stays sickness-free and spends her life with her husband well..
